This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) applies to any Hivo Inc. (“Company”, “we” or “our”) product, website or service, including but not limited to the application ‘Hivo’ (“Application”), the website hivoapp.com and its subdomains (“Website”) and any other product or service to which Company applies the Privacy Policy (collectively, “Service”), and details how we access, collect and use personal data that you and your business shares with us.

IF YOU ARE USING THE SERVICE ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO BIND THE ORGANIZATION TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND ARE AGREEING TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY FOR THAT ORGANIZATION. WHERE YOU ARE USING THE SERVICE ON BEHALF OF AN ORGANIZATION, “YOU” AND “YOUR” REFERS TO THE ORGANIZATION.

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

The Service includes but is not limited to a platform offered via the Application to connect persons and/or companies with available physical workspaces (“Workspaces”) with professionals, students, freelancers and entrepreneurs who work remotely in order to facilitate hourly bookings for work, study and meetings. To provide the Service to owners and/or operators of the physical Workspaces (“Hosts”) and booking users desiring to utilize said Workspaces (“Guests”) (Hosts and Guests together, “Customers”), Company may have to access personal data that may be sensitive or important to such Customers. This Privacy Policy describes how we access, collect and use personal data regarding Customers.

2. HOW WE OBTAIN PERSONAL DATA

The Service involves accessing, collecting and processing personal data, which is information about individuals that can be used to identify them. Subject to legal, contractual and technical requirements, you may choose not to provide Company with certain data or request the deletion of certain data, which may impact the essential operation of the Service. In most cases, Company is not the personal data controller and only acts as a data processor. In cases where Company is the data processor and not the controller, please contact your data controller prior to contacting Company, in order to exercise any of your personal data rights.

Additional personal data collection for Hosts may include workplace addresses, workplace information (including but not limited to Wi-Fi and Internet access information), building information (including but not limited to accessibility information), and any information shared on a Host profile.

Additional personal data collection for Guests may include real-time location information in relation to Application use and any information shared on a Guest profile.

This Privacy Policy only applies to personal data that Company accesses, collects, processes and discloses, and does not apply to third-party services such as Apple, Google, Stripe, etc. Customers are required to read and consent to third-party privacy policies before using the Service.

Hosts and Guests may collect each other's personal data while using the Service. Company is not responsible for the collection or handling of such data by other parties.

6. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

The Service uses tracking technologies like cookies and Google Analytics to collect personal data such as IP addresses and device information. Third-parties may be able to resolve identities across multiple devices.

You may contact Company to obtain a copy of any personal data, correct inaccurate personal data, or request deletion. Requests are subject to contractual, legal, and legitimate interest exceptions.

Personal data may be stored and processed by third parties globally. Company retains personal data until its deletion is requested, no longer needed, or as long as legally necessary.

Currently, we do not respond to DNT requests as there are no technology standards for Do Not Track signals.
